I cooked a couple of sirloin steaks for me and Mrs. Skoob, burnt some onions, mushed up some mushrooms and totally fucked up some potato wedges.

But WTF - we're still in love.

She's doing 'Brain Training' on the DS and I'm half watching 'Creep' on Sky movies. With the surround sound on.

As Mr Marley once said so eloquently:

"Is this love is this love is this love that I'm feeling?"

Yeah, as Mr Fergus might put it she's got me completely banjaxed.

I'll show her this in a min and pass it off as a Valentine's greeting.

Regards

Skoob.

Maybe I'm right next door.

Skoob, he said:

That's "Is this love?" X4

Sorry to be so pedantic.

For some reason you have me humming a Whitesnake song now.
Didn't they sing "Is this love, that I'm feelin'? This must be love..."?

Oh, I don't know.
Or care.
I don't give a shit.

I'm bored.

You've made me so happy. <sigh> Literally smiling from ear to shining ear. Basic black, v-neck, drop back, simple diamond pendant, satin 3-inch heel pumps and elbow length gloves... Aah. I can picture it now.

One more add on, since you mentioned you play on both sides of the pond.... It's been a while since I've worked in the Apple... I do miss midtown. The Whiskey Blue at the "W" (Black suit required), the salmon at Pescatore on Second, and the ambiance at the Blue Note. Black evening wear required. <scratch> (pause) <snif>

We probably move in different circles, but for my money, the Homeland Bar in Union Square was top, Chumley's in the Village was cool, and the High Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel was blinding.
