As far as you remember?
How far back is that?

General discussion
For general discussion about life and so on.

Thats what the board says.

If you don't like it why don't you fuck off?

Your insults do not bother me one slight, this is a spoof/satire site as far as I remember, we should all be bantering (as mentioned) and joking about and over the very sick world we live in, and not trying, to in any way, influence each other or it. As seen by other writers here, they and myself (the majority) wish only to poke fun at the very people disgracing the planet. If we lower ourselves to their standards by preaching our invalid opinions, then there is absdolutely no point to these superb forums and the adjoining site.
Take it or leave it, that's my final word on the subject!
In the future avoid like the pest and I certainly will!

I didn't insult you Jaggedone.

I just invited you to follow your own advice from your previous post. Bit touchy for one who advocates mirth and merriment at all time aren't you?

There's some pretty serious stuff rearing it's ugly head on these forums and personally I think it stinks.
As far as I remember we are here to take the piss out of each other and those who deserve it.
Why don't you politically, serious minded guys take your discussions onto sites where you can all shoot your fucking brains, intellect and opinions across the bows of sickheads who think they can change the world by their high opinions.
Please leave these forums for those who just wanna have a bit of high-ranking fun and banter!
God am I sick of you infiltrators attempting to Taliban these forums, go and get a fucking life or read Krishnamurti! Very irritated JO

Like your banter about soccer isn't a total bore time after time......

Actually my quotes pertaining to footy (soccer for you guys) are very short, seldom and certainly adressed to those who enjoy the beautiful game, it would never enter my mind to infiltrate a thread with footy when we can laugh over more serious things.
As for the disguised Popes quote, as mentioned I stand not alone with my opinions about taking these forums seriously and with my one quote I just wanted to express my frustration that subjects are introduced where colleagues start to devour each other in a serious fashion. The majority of writers acknowledge the world out there is pretty shitty and wish to participate here for a bit of non-serious relaxation, it certainly won't happen again, DON'T WORRY, IGNORANCE IS A BLISS!!! Point taken JO....Whenever we get a troll like Wirehead that 'likes to stir the pot' many of us will play with them for a time. He's old stuff and a one-dimensional bore to many of us now.

I have a serious issue here.

Quote Fergus:

"Not everyone's opinion is swayed by politics or religion Wirehead.
Take away the pulpit and the soap box.

What are you left with?"

Hang on a second.
Why would you have a pulpit AND a soapbox?
That's crap.
Surely if you have a pulpit you wouldn't need the soapbox?
Surely?

And even if you took away the pulpit and the soapbox there's a likely chance that you'd have something else like, say, a ramp or a stage to replace it.
Well, if you're gonna bring a pulpit and a soapbox then you might as well take the other stuff too.

I like seeing the opinions of the writers and how hot and bothered people get.
It gets me off. (insert wanking here)

It's the ones that stay quiet that get my goat!
It's good to argue about something. Proves you give a damn - even if it's a load of shit.

No hard feelings with anyone.
But I will hold a grudge.

Fuckers.

Fergus

I can't remember who said. I'm finding it really hard to cope with a world that doesn't sway any more, or a world without spinning ceilings. I think I'm becoming one of the lost boys or something.

I called the Samaritans but they hung up on me.

Regards, a very confused

Skoob.

Skoob: Fuck the Samaritans, give me a ring, I'm a Sagittarian....at least you could take a nip or two onst in a while...I'm in my 7th week of non smoking...cuts into my writing, gives me angst, anxiety attacks and causes even more cynicism (if possible) and makes me hungry....the only salvation is morphing into Yeoman Bitter's Soap on a Rope.....

Looking fwd. to your contribution on The Trek...and congrats on the Chinese Sex Theme Park Endorsement....

Cap'n

I'm a Saggitarian too. Not that I believe in horoscopes etc.
They're just bullshit. I much prefer opening Chinese sex parks. 5* for that one by the way.

I'm getting a bit wary about the Star Trek thing - it seems the mafia are trying to move in on it...

Skoob.

Skoobster:

Where are all of the old gang...did I miss something...?
We could just have them plagiarize something just to fill up space....

Oh well, just doesn't seem to generate any readings, think I have 34 on chapter 3......

Really enjoying reading about your political meltdown and $$$ reimbursements for the Pols!!!! Mark keeps asking me for recipts, but since he never sends a check anyway, I say "up his!"

Morpho Morphing back to Morse.

JB: Amen. It's clear there are some bully writers in The Spoof. Most good satire is social commentary and challenges stupid conventions.

According to Wikipedia: In satire, human or individual vices, follies, abuses, or shortcomings are held up to censure by means of ridicule, derision, burlesque, irony, or other methods, ideally with the intent to bring about improvement.Although satire is usually meant to be funny, the purpose of satire is not primarily humour in itself so much as an attack on something of which the author strongly disapproves, using the weapon of wit.

Without a point of view, how can you write good satire?

But Buck, he DID have 2 (two) 4,000 point stories last week after all!

Funny he had to mention it....must be on that male enhancement stuff you were peddling a while back...head just keeps growin' and growin'.....

Modesty is always a great virtue to be admired.....so is character and a little bit of journalistic honesty......

--------------------------------------

A bully writer? Hmmm...

I'll be as quick as I can, I've bullied no one on this thread, far from it, I defended your right to free speech when JO told you to stop "Talibaning the forums", read back on your notes "Intelligence Operative."

I asked you a question you haven't bothered answering so I'll ask it again..... Just for the repetition.

When it comes to the issue of aborting or terminating the life of a foetus up to 24 weeks old and both politics and religion are taken out of the equation 'What are you left with?'

A dead child? A waste disposal problem? A guilty conscience? A clear conscience? Maybe an overwhelming sense of relief that the jeans will fit again once the bleeding stops.
Maybe we should raise the age limit, if things aren't working out, you know? Teething, sleepless nights, loss of income. We could club them to death up to the age of two.

Like baby seals.

Oh No!!!! Not the baby seals!!!!!

Fergus,

thats very admirable.
You obviously love babies a lot.
I'm sure you love looking at little baby pictures on Wikipedia all day long.

You too Buckwheats.
You are a baby lover.
A lovely man who loves babies.

I'm still waiting for women.
Not just in general - I mean, I'm waiting for women to share their opinions here on this spoof website about abortion.I'm surprised their not lining up around the block to get their point across on this very serious matter being discussed on a spoof website.

I'm all for abortion. Can't get enough of it.

And i don't think there are bullies on this site, Wirehead.
Just lovers.
This is the lovers lane of websites.

I thought I posted my opinion on here last week.

Guess I'll have to repeat myself.

Have any of you ever been raped and then a month or so later found out that the man who brutalized you and violated you also left you with child?

Because the rapist didn't have the good manners to use a condom. And you aren't on the pill because your insurance doesn't cover it.

This is the very same insurance that covers Viagra, Levitra and Cialas. So old codgers like Buck can still get it up for his wife/girlfriend who was secretly thrilled she'd no longer have to tolerate his amorous attentions?

But I digress. Back to the matter at hand: abortion.

So you're left with a choice (and it IS a choice) go through 9 months of pregnancy, knowing every minute that you're carrying the offspring of a sexual sadist. Or do you have an abortion?

Some of you will take the argument that it's not the 'baby's' fault and not to kill the 'baby' for the sins of the father.

It's not a baby. It's a blob. And I would say I'd like to see any one of you on here go through the scenario I just described, but I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy- much less people I consider pals.

Plus, it's impossible for any of you to be in that scenario because you're all men.

It's not for you to decide or admonish. So I encourage all of you to please, shut the fuck up. And I mean that in the nicest way.

PS: What Fergus is describing (an abortion at 24 mos or later is called a Late Term Abortion) is an abomination. The baby is dismemebered piece by piece as it's taken out of the woman.

I'm of the opinion that abortion after the 1st trimester should be outlawed except if the mother's life is in real danger.

Everyone kinda leaves the room when abortion comes up.
It's awkward.....like watching a young man's false teeth fall out while laughing.
What do you say?

Do you sympathize?
Do you back away into the corner?
Do you offer more tea?

It's all a personal decision I suppose.

I would probably laugh.
Thats me.

Yes, that's definately you. You wouldn't offer more tea after you were done laughing? I thought you'd be a better host than that, JB!

I have no problem with a abortion due to rape or incest. As long as the acts were reported as legitimate crimes.
