Now you're making words up again...

Egotisticalism? Gnosis overcomes the ideological sacerdotal triumphalisms. Italy can always lie. India seems mystical.

What's all this then, children? I go away to the seaside for a couple of days to get my visa sorted, and look what happens! Even JB, my loyal and hardworking assistant, seems powerless to stop the fracas, and to deal with the protagonists in an appropriate manner. Never mind, I am here, and you can rest assured that I will deal with all those concerned.

Now, if the first one could come in, please...

O, Jag! How thine eyes dost twinkle when thou getst mad! I feel your wrath, young Jedi, but thou must contain thine anger, for spreading it all over the forum like pig muck will make the pages smell.

Ah, the newly-humorous. Inhopeless shouldn't be spoken too harshly for this. He is yet young, and is still in the period of his spoofmanship where he thinks it is hilariously funny to post long words at the end of his sentences, thereby providing a headache for the next player. Youthful pranks, no more! Let us not be unkind to the lad. After all, he's got enough on his plate, living in Birmingham!

I propose another change: the last word of any sentence can contain no more than 12 letters, and must not be a word like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, or whatever she sang.

We can make it difficult for each other, but some on here might find it too difficult to make a many-lettered sentence. Or, worse, they might just not bother to think up a sentence, and take their business elsewhere, which, after years of hard work by Budda and myslef, would be a shame, and I might cry.

Now move along. Nothing to see here.

12 letters?! That's nothing! Brobdignagian is only... 13! I demand a slightly more brobdingnagian character limit! Nearly 15% of the English language consists of words above 12 characters! *sigh* Fine, I'll be a sheep.

composition: Only many people! Obviously silly titles is only necropolis!

(a large cemetery, from Greek: necropolis, necro: dead, polis: place, therefore Dead-place)

Give me a minute.

Or two.

Necropolis: eastern cemetery remained open, particularly over Lent. It stank.

Tangible acceleration not given in brobdingnagian lengths is really eellogofusciouhipoppokunurious.

(means good. Wow. Even I didn't know that. From ello (hello), fusci (colour) and oother shit I can't translate.

(Ed.: Wait, sorry it's above the character limit.)

...really, elephant.

(as in the large paper size measuring 584mm x 711mm, not the animal)

I'll go with 'elephant'. Inhopeless where did you get the extra i and s from by the way? Shouldn't you be 'studying'?

Elephant leads enormous platypus hunting anteaters near Tunisia.

LG

Did I read correctly, that there is a 'character' limit now?

Bleedin Norah!.

Ah well, ever the trouper, onward, ever onward:

Tunisia undervalues necrophilia: ivory sarcophagus is anathema.

acceleration is elephant?

therefore, elephant is acceleration

tangible elephant not given in brobdingnagian lengths is really acceleration?

huh?

Tush, no matter.

On with the motley.

"Elephant, Laetitia?" Eduardo pouted. "Here's a nibbled trunk."

Well it was supposed to be that extremely long word that means good, but because of the 15-ish character limit imposed (I think 15's a good number) I can't write that. So, I just went with the largest commerical-printed paper size.
-------------------

Trunk: Really understand needless kinetheodolites.

(missle tracking devices, from kinetic: movement, theo: idea dolite: throw, so movement-idea-throw... wait what?)

(also that is 15 letters right? I'm sure there's some leeway?)

Inhopeless, if you want to make a 50million-letter word, I have no problem with that, but the object of the game, as well as providing a challenge for the next player, is to try to keep it from being too daunting, and to ensure it keeps moving, rather than to stunt it with words that are too long.

For you, I'll remove the character limit. You have a different character limit to the rest of us, Inhopeless. Your character limit is 50million letters in the last word of your sentence. OK?

Accelerometer can change elephants' lips, especially round open mouth. Elephants try eating reeds.
