Thanks for clarifying that for me Skoob. Much obliged.

Too many 'false memories' roaming around these days

Was it Gary Sprake?
Really?
I was sure it was some South American chap.
Maybe I'm mad.

Well, Spain won. They deserved to win.
Holland were pants. DeJong should have been sent off for that nasty chest kick.

It would have been a disgrace if Holland won the World Cup.
Crappy match but at least Spain tried to play some sort of football.
I don't get it with Holland.
They have some good players who CAN play but insist on hoofing it up the field like an old division one side like Wimbledon.

I was happy to see that Diego Forlan got player of the tournament. he was a 100% deserving of that.

LG, please direct the conversation towards ice-hockey!

Call ice-hockey a sport? All those namby-pamby padded skinny fellas shoving a puck around with the end of a curved stick....hopping on and off the ice every 2 minutes.

I bet one of them wouldn't last 45 minutes playing FOOTBALL never mind a full 90.

Yeah! They might look tough pulling and pushing at their padding pretending to fight each other. Bloody hell, they can't even get a decent punch it when they take off the gloves, now that they're all wearing helmets. It was much better with a bit of blood.

They might as well all sit behind the plex-glass with the spectators, they couldn't more 'protected'.

Sorry, what was the question?

Mind you, Rob Blake has a big house up the road from us on the shores of Lake Erie. Access via the big wrought iron gates on Radical Road. I taught at the same school as his brother Russel.

Also, Rob Blake pitched me my FIRST baseball when he came to visit the school his brother I worked at at the time. It was on the day of the Student/Teacher baseball game. I can honestly say 'I GOT TO FIRST BASE WITH ROB BLAKE.

Oh! Their parent's farm is just up the other road! Off Hgwy 24.

For someone who doesn't particularly like the sport you've got enough to say about it.

Good rant LG, I love a high spirited, spitting feline, is the back still hunched?

How the hell can you see through the bleeding computer. Hang on one of my warts is coming loose. Oops! My broomstick just fell on my black cat!

Hockey is the only bloody sport the male teachers talk about during 'the season'. Plus the female teachers with boys, strap skates on them before they can walk, and sign them up for a team before their 3rd birthday. I can't help but pick a bit up.

Also Wayne Gretsky comes from Brantford, 45 mins. away and his dad still lives there. I'm surrounded by hockey fans (not at home though).

Aw! You meant I was the CAT!!! Sorry to disappoint!

Thanks deary! I have my own. His name is Mike and he likes to go hiking and collects fossils. I saw him last Thursday. They're re-carpeting all of the offices. Should be nice(r) when they've finished.

He doesn't have a couch though, just 3 comfy chairs and a swivel one at his desk. He's just got new laptop computer too.

Someone once said, "Give her a word and she'll have a story about it"
So some of the othe patients tried it....and I came through with flying colours.

By the way, we're all OUT now in case you were wondering

But what about Richard Bachman who mysteriously disappeared?
Stephen King is believed to have killed him off. Too much competition....In fact, I do believe Stevie boy admitted to it.

On the subject of Ice Hockey: I loved EA Sports video game NHL Hockey.
Best damn sports game ever!

I swapped a copy of some crappy Sega Megadrive game for it.
What was it again...?
Oh, yes - Alien 3.

Memories are a great thing....

He's alright.
Causes no harm to nobody.

He's big man too. Wouldn't want to mess with him. I'd say he'd knock your head off.

So Jesus Buddah, you've actually SEEN Fry's factoids. Does that mean you are 'one of those'?

Just asking...

I forgot to ask if the 'fanny' you referred to was American-English or British-English - two very different 'lady parts' coz American and Canadian men have 'fanny's too. All of them!!!!

Just curious....

Regarding this, I remain
