I've found the site, but unfortunately, its not going to show Sherlock for another 5 months. But they've got a trailer for you to get a sneaky view of how good it will be in May.

I must say that we do tend to do drama quite well here. The only thing is that we don't churn them out fast enough. We have it all in place, but with the beeb it's politics, and with ITV it's commercial considerations.

C4 and Sky seem to be making an effort too. I'd like to get deeper into this but it's total chaos chez moi, right now.

Skoob.

The drama today, has not got the substance the old type of tv drama seemed to have. Upstairs Downstairs was a classic, I Claudius, Anyone remember Crown Court? Colombo!

And, how many remakes are they going to re write?

Someone, somewhere, has new fresh ideas, that need to be thrown into the ring. Please,

Arm xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The Chaotically Mundane Life And Misdemeanours Of Martin Shuttlecock.

(It has to be about me. It's a Spoof tradition dating back at least a year or two.)

That oughta sort it.

Thanks Kat....I did find a place to watch it @
TV links

And, Arm, I can relate to the lack of drama. There is a lack here as well. However, I do enjoy Castle because it's a cop show, but written in a way to relate to the inner geek in me. Parenthood is also good. Everything else is either various CSIs, Law and Orders or hospital dramas. Is there a CSI Dorking? There should be...

If no one's done it....that would be a good idea for a contest/collaboration.

I'm split between Rathbone and Brett for Holmes. They were both brilliant.

I'm also wondering if Cumberbatch and Freeman should do a 'special' where they are actually in Victorian London... so I can see if they are as good as in modern times.

Would get the viewers in no doubt.

You seen them all yet Ellie?

I'm getting the urge to watch the last episode again, and the website I watched it on a few months ago is GONE!

I've also recently learned that the US version of Sherlock is set to have Lucy Liu as JOAN Watson??? Ugh!

And, Chris James, if you're lurking, my DVD player only plays region 1 DVDs!

My son dragged me to see the latest film with richard Downey Jr and Jude Law.

I was surprised how good it was and how light-heartedly it was
done. Holmes is depicted well, mad as a box of frogs and Watson too is tongue in cheek.

From what I'd seen of the trailer I thought it was going to be one of those steampunk affairs but it wasn't.

Can thoroughly recommend it.

ROBERT Downey, Jr!

Yes, I did enjoy his take on Sherlock as well. Missed the last film in theaters though. I don't think there's an American actor who could pull it off aside from Downey. Maybe I'm just biased though but he is the most talented actor of my generation.

He's also a gifted musician.

I can't keep up with all these people - if it had been Edward G robinson I would have remembered. If I had said 'that Iron man bloke' it might have been better.

Alright, so I've just watched the Series 2, Episode 3 again via my local PBS station. I think I have it figured out....

And now that both series have aired here in the US, they are available on DVD here FINALLY. I'll be hitting up Amazon in the next week or so.
