You need somebody like my Mrs Birb...

She's more of a man than I'll ever be.

You wanna see her de-ice the car and shovel snow at 5:30 am.

Fucking awesome she is.

And she can cook (she's a qualified chef) hang doors and lay bricks.

She's fucking NAILS is my Mrs.

I just write Spoofs and play chess with Mponkey Woods while she does the grafting.

Not that I don't offer to help out - she just thinks I'm absolutely hopeless.

She's probably right.

Regards

Skoob.

Wow, you have a Mrs. Birb also? Doesn't your wife object?

(couldn't resist--just woke up) I know, I'm a bastard....

I totally disagree. A REAL WOMAN TRAINS HER HUSBAND WELL AND SITS BACK WATCHING !

Lady G.

I disagree with you and with Skoob. I find what best works is a mutual respect. Shared duties and all. No need to train a man who was properly raised and loves you enough to want to help out when he sees you need it. And no need to train a woman who loves you enough to know when you are dead dog tired and need someone to bring your slippers and a cold beer, not because you are superior but because she loves you.

At least in my world, that's how it's done. Problem is, we like to keep the battle going by taking sides. As far as I'm concerned, we're all in this together.

Sorry...

Merely meant to say Bollocks!

Oh my dog! Charpa...you've gone all 'serious' on us.
I must agree with you...though.

Does it count that we've been married for 42 years without a break?

Mr. G.'s mam brought her 4 boys up to be able to cope for themselves....and respect their wives. (Being in the Boy Scouts helped too). She always told me that if any of her boys ONCE raised a hand to their wife...the wife had a 'place' in her home and the son would be disowned.

That's true. None of them ever have, as far as I am aware.
Mind you, 2 of them are divorced, the youngest is 'on' his 3rd wife.

Oh! I can't stand being serious for long here.

And I never know whether to take people seriously on this site anyay But I do believe you are speaking from your heart.

Skoob doesn't wear the trousers in his house...that's why he has that bloody long coat down to his shoes. I bet Mrs. Skoob even ties his shoelces...or maybe he has velcro fastenings on his shoes

If I had a wife
to beggar me life
I tell you what I would do,
I'd buy her a boat
and put her afloat
and paddle me own canoe.

Sorry, just got tired of all the man and husband bashing. If I went along, I'd feel bad that's all.

I'll try to stay off here when I'm having my grown up moments.

Don't know what you mean when you say 'also'!!

I don't have a Mrs Birb.

Well, technically, I do but she lives 200 miles away.

And she's a right bitch.

I say technically, cause the only reason she is still a Mrs Birb is because I refuse to divorce her.

Out of spite.

That'll learn 'er.............

Hey look. Birbee is Featured Writer!!!!! That just means we have to look at that wierd photo a lot more during the hours remaining.

Never mind, he's explained it on another thread.

Which thread am I on now? Sorry, I forget.

Later

Lady G.

Edit: Eskimos. They sell 'Eskimo Pies' over here but I've never tried one. I think the filling will be too blubbery.

Honest...Eskimo Pies...can anyone buy them...or just Eskimos and shouldn 't they be called Inuit Pies anyways?
