I As a man of the street feel what Wayne rooney has acheived is awesome. For a young man whose brain is equated to be the size of a gnat and who has the balls of a whippet Wayne has done good. Roo has managed to put one over Alex. He couldnt come out and say he wanted a wage rise due to the goverment's cutback on expenditure so he came up some cock and bull about playing sexy football and winning medals.
The true winners in all of this will be the young women and old grandmas who are wetting themselves with excitement at the thought of roo splashing all that cash and anything else he can splash over them with his pee shooter. Ferguson has admitted that his days are numbered as a manager and he is looking for a sucessor. Ferguson with tears in his eyes said I tried to give him the hair dryer treatment but I failed. Rooney is as bald as a coot and can lie like one too. The good thing to emerge from this as noted on the Doggers website is Rooney's distribution of money will be a lot fairer than anything the chancellor of the exchefquer could ever hope for. |

...and they are paying him more money. Unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable, as Victor Meldrew would say. |

That Alex Ferguson's a clever old man. He knew what he was doing when he gave that Press conference last week. The results were quite funny. I never expected Wayne to go back on his words that quick.

I did say somewhere else, Skoob - although I can't remember where! - that there was something yet to be revealed about all of this, and Presto!
Just didn't feel quite right, somehow... I guess those United fans will be just as forgiving of Wayne when he starts banging them in again, as they were of that rapscallion Ronaldo after he got his mate sent off in the World Cup 'winking incident'. |

Not this Utd fan, I wished he'd fuck off! 250k a week, bollocks, if that shithead is worth that then Mon Dieu was worth at least a million a week!

I was having a similar conversation with my lad earlier, JO. It'll be the wages which eventually ruin it all, and all so a few meatheads can live in the lap of undeserved luxury.

absolutely correct MW. I actually do wish the whole Premier league would implode in Rooney's face and that Utd, Chelsea and Man City all go under with impunity just like Portsmouth, West Ham and Liverpool! Then we can all get back to real footie! |

I reckon the new contract is contrived in order for the club to demand a higher transfer fee.
I really don't expect him to be around for very long - not at OT anyway. I also think all that guff about Colleen's family demanding he stays in England is designed to start a bidding war between Madrid, Chelsea and City. Just idle thoughts... Regards Skoob. |

...you know what they say: Love for sale, Appetising young love for sale. Love that's fresh and still unspoiled, Love that's only slightly soiled, Love for sale. Who will buy? Who would like to sample my supply? Who's prepared to pay the price, For a trip to paradise? Love for sale Let the poets pipe of love in their childish way, I know every type of love Better far than they. If you want the thrill of love, I've been through the mill of love; Old love, new love Every love but true love Love for sale. Appetising young love for sale. If you want to buy my wares. Follow me and climb the stairs Love for sale. Love for sale. |

Morse, who is 'they'?
And... ...I liked j.w.'s story about Rooney buying Man Utd. But spoof? I reckon it's the logical next step. |

MW: the Ubiquitous "THEY"....all those that aren't "US".....the higher power that mandates our lives behind the scenes....in this case it could be Stretford...or maybe you folks haven't given Coleen enough credit.....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.... ...any truth he's been kicking it around with Katie Price....? Maybe 'SHE" is "THEY" in this case.....she could teach him a trick or two on publicity & greed to grab the loot.... |
