By the way what are these, they're not anagrams, they're not quite acrostics and they're not quite mnemonics?

Phrases that describe the first word, using words beginning with the other letters so.....

Acrostonymic phrases! did the great buddha just invent something new here all that time ago in the forum?

I've discovered that they are actually what are called recursive acronyms. Acronyms that actually contain the word itself.

Bugger all else to do when you can't sleep

sorry Lynton, you've BUGGERED yourself here, the word is POMODORO, written by your good self.

Concetrate on the following and don't attempt to analyse the madness, just join the fun!!!!!!

Pomodoro or mouldy "orrible" (cockney BTW) dumplings offering repulsive options?

Girlfriend indicates rules; "Lets forget rules," I explain, nervously dancing.

Iain

[P.S. Talking of rules, quick rule recap for the newcomers... Take the last word of the previous sentence and explain what it means, if it is an acronym. Yes, it's a badly named thread, dealt with and monkey spanked. Thus, as the previous post ended GIRLFRIEND, I create the expanded acronym based on this, and the next one with be the expanded acronym based on DANCING. As Alexander the Meerkat says: Simples]
