Well Ibrahim got cut down in his prime while I was writing my reply but why waste it?

Ibrahim welcome to the spoof and peace be upon you. There is an Arabic proverb with which you will be familiar I am sure

"A foolish man may be known by six things: Anger without cause, speech without profit, change without progress, inquiry without object, putting trust in a stranger, and mistaking foes for friends."

There is not one writer here who would disagree with that - it is one of the reasons we write here.

There are several other Arabic proverbs of interest

A horse of good breed is not dishonored by his saddle

Therefore Ibrahim, let those of Islam cut the saddle that dshonours it from its own back. If it is of 'good breed' seek out those who would dishonour the Prophet (peace be upon Him) and cut them down or persuade them to follow His real teachings..

But you say to me Ibrahim

A house divided cannot stand (another Arabic proverb).

But is it not also said that

A wise man associating with the vicious becomes an idiot; a dog traveling with good men becomes a rational being

Until such time as that happens Ibrahim we shall not need the the Golden Duas to guide us at the spoof. We here follow the philosophy of another Atabic Proverb

Personally, I found the context of his post offensive.

Lynton, My sentiments about you being the voice of reason and clarity were intended.

The other bit about being Insulted was a windup.

Mr Ibrahim and his cronies should do a bit more research before posting statments of that nature. Who do these people think we are, Working class?!
