A few of my stories are stuck at 69 views....disgusting that is....can some of you go and view some stuff to get me out of this very awkward position?

I wish I had that many. One of my most recent stories Call Turkey on your Mobile only 1p per Minute! totally bombed. My other story Find a date today did better though.

I noticed, by complete accident, that Gay Larry was at number 69 in the Writers Chart earlier.

You base it on which way up you are. You work out which way up you are, then you stand on your head, and if the story looks the right way up, you conclude "This is the last time I drink absinthe."

I do Bingo every week, at an old peoples home, and the bingo call for 69 is 'any way up'.

However, as the oldies can't hear very well (they normally look at the display or rely on other volunteers) we often give different calls just to cheer ourselves up.

'Meal for Two' and 'Bit of a Mouthful' are two alternatives for 69.

'Jap's Eye' instead of 'Kelly's Eye' for number 1 is another.

Has anyone got any other suggestions I could use.............?

3rd attempt at getting this reply sent.

Bingo night has certainly livened up a bit since I last played.

I have a friend (older lady) on another site, who didn't understand what we were all joking about re: 69. After numerous clues, she remained clueless...so someone explained bluntly.

She later moved to a new house and looked out of her side window to view her neighbours' house. It was number 69.

Sorry I can't help you out with your Bingo calls.

Birbee, what with all this 'political correctness', are you still allowed to call the traditional "Two fat ladies, 88", or have you had to adapt your call?

It's probably just Eight and eight - 88

Those buggers who came up with the 'politically correct' stuff have spoiled everyone's fun. That is...if you GIVE a damn. I don't.

Party on everyone!

Some people change it to "two fat people".

Me? I stick with "two fat munters"

14 is a bit dodgy though: "young and keen".............

I just checked my points on the writer's stats and they are, at the moment, 9666. Wonder if this is an upside-down menage a quatre?
