I've just watched Sir Alex Ferguson's interview today. On U tube.

I'm no fan of Ferguson's.

But I believed every word of what he said..

I'm amazed to be honest, he's a young lad with more money in his bank accounts than he could ever spend.

Why would he bother? I know he's not from Manchester and he's already taken a lot of stick from the Everton fan's for going to Utd but moving to City is an act of madness, it can't just be about the money, he has shed loads of it.

Is it possible that he enjoys being hated? What's next? Drowning pink kittens in wheelie bins? Auditioning for the XFactor? Wearing fur? German citizenship?


I don't see why he'd want the hassle, any other club in the world would make for a quieter life, even Liverpool, but not Man City.

It makes no sense, I couldn't really care less where he goes, City or otherwise, but it seems to me a bit like leaving your wife for her identical twin sister just because she's had a boob job.

He still has to come into regular contact with the brothers, the father, the mother......

from someone who knows shit about soccer, and could care less, these lads are all the same, whatever sport or country they're from...
uneducated, pampered from the day they could throw, kick or hit a ball, with no outside knowledge except mirrors of themselves....

Yeah that's true Morse, they quite often aren't the brightest but they do know when they are putting their lives and families at risk, if he does play for Man City it goes beyond stupidity.

There is simply no need, they aren't a major force to be reckoned with just yet and he may not even win a title with them, it can't just be about the money.


I'm baffled, it's akin to Bruce Willis walking down Harlem with "I hate niggers" written on a placard except that Bruce was made do it.

Maybe that's it! Maybe the Saudi's who own Man City have something really big on him..... The Queen Mudder'll know.

I can't think of anyone who left United and went on to set the world on fire.
