The current Prime Minister is deemed to care less about the UK and its people than eight former leaders, including James Callaghan, Gordon Brown and Harold Wilson.

The findings are contained in a poll of over 10,000 members of Saga, the over-50s group, about the popularity and ability of the 13 individuals who have been British Prime Minister since the war.
