I brushed off Labour's shock defeat in the Bradford West by-election, claiming the party is set for a return to power at the next general election.

I know my party suffered an humiliating blow when Respect's George Galloway overturned a 5,000 Labour majority to storm home with a lead of more than 10,000 votes!

But Respect do not have enough candidates to be areal threat to us. And the Lib-Dem's joining the coalition with the Tories has shot any little chance they ever had.

Me? I'm not doing anything to upset anyone!
