I sincerely hope that the closing ceremony does not include the likes of Paul McCartney, Cliff Richard, Bruce Forsyth and Elton John. Don't these old has-beens realise they no longer have any talent. Their voices have gone and they should now retire.

Our athletes have done a magnificent job and will be a shame if their achievements are eclipsed by these third-rate performers as the world will forget our achievements and remember the rubbish we offered as entertainment.
