Rosamund Pike seems to agree with me that it is not a good idea for mothers to stay at home.

The 33 year-old actress says after the birth of her son, Solo, this spring, she wants to balance motherhood with acting. "I love motherhood, it is the most wonderful thing," she tells me at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 launch party at One Mayfair. "But motherhood has actually stimulated my interest in acting. I am fortunate in that I can often stay close to him while I work."
