The Italian Golfing Greaseballs, Edoardo and Francesco Molinari, after bragging that they would go undefeated in Ryder Cup competition, went down like spaghetti doused in olive oil in the final round of Ryder Cup competition.
Edoardo, who was matched against youngster Rickie Fowler, was 4-up with six holes to play, folded like a cheap Sicilian accordion and ended up finishing All-Square at the end of their match. With Edoardo looking like he had choked on an anchovy, he vowed that Rickie would wake up with a horse head on his bed the next morning.
And Francesco, who had the momentum of a meatball trying to roll up hill, was dumped ignominiously 4&3, by Tiger Woods in a match that had all of the drama of a Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western.
Although the Europeans won the Cup, the Italian Golfing Greaseballs could only hope that the fans in their hometown of Turin were watching soccer Monday morning.
