Islam, a religion once noted for fundamentalism and terrorism, has made such inroads into the UK that its devout followers now work in Government and key public utilities, Christians have been warned.
Church of England officials say Muslims or their associates are almost certainly working "quite openly" in sensitive posts and are actively worshipping Allah, the name formerly given to God.
The London Underground, Gatwick Airport and BT are cited as examples of organisations which are now run exclusively by and for Muslims.
So what is going to happen to Christians, many of whom have not seen the inside of a church since they were married 1959?
Details of the threat to apathetic, underachieving Christians emerged months after the Daily Mail revealed that Scotland Yard is now run by individuals linked to Islam. Some are even believed to have attended Mosques in Pakistan or Afghanistan.
Muslims who have taken over the Government or the "Critical National Infrastructure" - vital utilities such as water, electricity, transport and communications - have a number of objectives.
These include trying to do a good job and earning a living for themselves and their families, something Christians find increasingly unnecessary now that they live off unearned income from share portfolios, property investments and the work of others.
These Muslims might also seek well-paid managerial jobs in banking, law and the public sector which spells out the end for smug middle-class Christians in middle England. For Christians, the writing really is on the wall.
