Turkey has agreed to lift a ban on the Islamic headscarf in universities as an issue of human rights and freedoms-misleading expressions that in the past 30 years have divinely unleashed massive Islamism while suppressing the immemorial nationalism.
The history of modern Turkey, after long period of national humiliation, begins in 1923, with Mustafa Kemal (Atatürk) as its first president. During his presidency, Turkey took giant steps toward Westernization: the closure of courts run by unruly independent Mullahs; replacement of Islamic law, such as stoning, chopping off hands and feet, etc. with civil code modeled after Switzerland and Italy; giving all rights possible to Turkish women; banning wearing the veil or headscarf by women, same problem that Netherlands faces today. Anyway, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey awarded Kemal his last name - Ataturk, meaning 'the father of the Turks'.
Of Turks, 98 per cent are Muslims. As a powerful Islamic entity, the Ottoman Empire, or rather Turkish Empire, (1300-1918) ruled over SE Europe, SW Asia and NE Africa for almost 600 years. In 1453 forces led by Muhammad II ended Byzantine Empire or Eastern Roman Empire, the capital of which was present 'Istanbul'.
Any tourist passing through Bulgaria can see 'THE TOWER OF SCULLS'. In spring 1809, the Ottoman Empire Army stationed in Bulgaria, attacked Serbian army headed by Serbian duke Stevan Sindjelic. Serbs were defeated. The heads of Sindjelic fallen men were cut, and skinned and the sculls were inserted in the outside walls, alternating with bricks. There were 56 rows of 17 sculls each, a total of 952 Serbian sculls.
Libya's Colonel Qaddafi says, "There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe …".
Kemal Atatürk's soul from his grave has been closely watching the recent developments in Turkey, particularly headscarf-wearing 1st Lady standing next to her husband in public appearances, a totally unacceptable behavior in Islamism! Consequently, he has kept turning in his grave, wondering how an Islamist woman, who must have refused to go to college because of dress code, could have reached that high position. Angrily, he could have sent the following message to all the Turks who called him 'the father of the Turks':
"I don't trust you morons anymore. Exhume my bones and bury them somewhere else, before Islamists turn my grave into a public latrine, as they did to the graves of the same heads of states like me in the neighboring countries. And tell those fiery chemically unbalanced females whom I thought I had freed to cover their shaved faces. Now, I understand why you prefer to cover your faces, of course, excluding the paid actors: you failed to compete with the pretty females of the world. I was going to say, 'Cover your faces and share your beds with three more wives and numerous slave girls.', but I take it back, since most of you have no husband worthy of the name."
