A diary of one man's utter failure, depression, frustration, cock-ups, and impecuniousness, starting in August 1947

Chapter 65 - The Hospital Visitor?

After my cardiac surgery, and two days of which I can remember little, I was moved to the Intensive care for a day, then back into the 'Morris' cardiac ward in the Nottingham City Hospital.

As I awoke, and looked at the paraphernalia protruding from my body, the monitoring devices scattered around the bed, and perceived a young lady walking up to the bed - if this is an angel I thought, I like it!

She was about 25 years old, had long brown hair, a short skirt revealing much of her nice thick thighs, her blouse tantalisingly unbuttoned to reveal a third of her firm sunburnt breasts, and a smile that melted the heart!

She bent down and gently kissed me on the lips, smiled, and rubbed her hand across my nether-regions... and then slowly, as I was ogling her, she disappeared!

A little later, a nurse appeared saying: "Ah, your back with us then?"

My unhesitating reply was: "Can I have some more of the drugs you've been giving me please?"

I think the apparition I had enjoyed, must have affected others similarly in the past, because she just smiled knowingly.
