Religious prophecies claim the Antichrist will rise during the final days of a wrecked earth, to falsely declare himself the Messiah.
The Antichrist will attempt to implement himself as a ruler of men before the Second Coming of the Christ. Prophecies of the Antichrist's arrival are found in the text of some religions including the Bible, in the Epistles of John.
In the Koran, Mohammed speaks of a great devil coming from the North in the land of Cane, the cursed son of Adam, who will try to corrupt the faithful.
Jesus said: "For there shall arise a false Christ by the name of Vissarion who will speak of his master's birth and the anti-christ will come forth from the body of a she-goat of divine reverence and he shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. He shall be poisoned and rise from the dead to deceive man of his great divinity."
According to the scripture of Paul, the first event will be an apostasy.
