Hi, I'm Denny, a freelance reporter who started my Journalism career as a printer's devil in my father's newspaper in 1960. From there I went first to a fledgling USA Today in 1983 and worked as that publication's first Midwest correspondent until I took a job with the National Enquirer in Lantana Fla., in 1986, and things began to get interesting.
In 1988 I returned to Chicago where I worked as the exclusive Midwest correspondent for the Enquirer and later the Globe and then back to the The Enquirer, over the last decade, I've covered Oprah, since she was fat the first time; Crashed Vanna's wedding in Aspen; had a press conference with Bruce Willis at a Idaho urinal; and interviewed more people than you want to know who truly believe they have been on interplanetary space missions.
I try to see the news with a unique perspective, and write it that way. I enjoy reading almost as much as writing and I find this place a very comfortable site indeed.
