US National Transportation Safety Board investigators think they've finally located the dead singer's remains on a snowy Sierra Nevada peak.

The ashes vanished in 1998 from a funeral home plane enroute to Beverley Hills amid reports of a serious mid-air mishap.

This morning an announcement on the NTSB website proclaimed the happy news with a brief message:

'Sinatra Cremation: Ol' Blue Ice Found'.
