A beggar, dressed in tattered clothes and cardboard shoes, snuck aboard a cruise ship bound for the Caribbean. As the cruise ship was preparing for departure, the beggar was discovered and escorted from the ship.
The next day the beggar repeated his stow away activity and was promptly discovered a second time. And the following day h€ once again tried to hide on board but was detected and ushered ashore. The harbor master was notified this third time and the beggar was summoned to his office.
"I'm merely trying to make it to the Caribbean so I can escape my poverty," the beggar said.
"Ah, yes," the harbor master replied. "But what you don't understand is that beggars can't be cruisers."
