Judge: William Tell - before I sentence you for killing your son, have you anything to say?
William Tell: Yes, My Lord. When I put the apple on my son's head, the one incidentally that dropped on Isaac Newton's head and led to the idea of gravity, I had no intention of killing my son. I hit the apple but sadly I put the arrow into my son's head through his cap. I succeeded in putting a feather in his cap. I think this is all a storm in a tea cap.
