Sexes & Punctuation

It is said that men are from Mars and women from Venus and it is true that the two sexes are quite different. As an illustration of this principle, an English Professor wrote the words, "woman without her man is nothing" on the blackboard and asked the students to punctuate it correctly.

The blokes wrote, "Woman, without her man, is nothing."

whereas the girls wrote, "Woman! Without her, man is nothing."
