In the House of Commons yesterday, the Prime Minister, David Cameron, stood up to address the other side of the house. He began his speech by saying: "ladies and gentlemen, would you please allow me to tax your brains?"
To labour politicians were heard to say to each other: "Good Heavens!! Why ever didn't we think of that?"
