Also, if you don't do your homework, you might end up bitter, twisted, and regretting all of the things you didn't do.

The thing is, even if you do do your homework, there are no guarantees where being bitter and twisted is concerned.

Or should that be "are concerned". Maybe if "Bitter and Twisted" were a comedy duo but otherwise, perhaps not. Is it is, then.
