Hrmm, I am beginning to believe that I am definitely, definitely missing something when it comes to the "insulting tone" of some British humor. I've seen it in other cultures too, where people find it funny to poke fun in a sort-of mean-spirited way at things, people, and ideas that have evoked a negative consensus within that culture.
I'm not sure I can learn it, either. |
