Extract from Story:
Disturbing new evidence has come to light that "totally changes" the way police are thinking about the 1969 murder of Sharon Tate, it can be revealed. Tate's husband at the time of her murder, writer and weirdo Roman Polanski, was arrested by police in Switzerland after he arrived there to accept a lifetime achievement award, the "Golden Icon Award", at the Zurich Film Festival. Interesting that this story is highly viewed, but unrated.

Maybe it touches on a nerve that people generally feel uncomfortable with.

Whichever way you view it, it's brave spoofing.

Leaves me with mixed feelings, so I didn't rate one way or the other.

I'll read it again when I'm not quite so tired.

5***** for being brave enough to tackle a difficult subject.

Anybody else got any thoughts?

Skoob.

Just read it.

I liked it in some ways.

It's clever. It's also well written.

He's worked hard to match the movie with Manson story and comes up with neat parallels.

I didn't find it at all funny. I didn't expect it to.

But well worth its read - a good 4*

Good input from you.

We could do with more of this kind of thing.

Constructive criticism is always a bonus.

I thought the story was very well thought out and executed.

Just that the subject matter sits a little uneasily.

I know it's just a Spoof and should be treated as such.

Fuck it - 5***** anyway.

I thought it was absolute shite, and I don't mind saying so. How on Earth did he come up with such a hair-brained connection as Polanski making a film out of the murder of his pregnant wife, when he'd already had something to do with it?

And the devil interpretation - the way he makes Polanski look like he is telling the world about his guilt through his film! How far-fetched can you get?

Even calling the devilish next-door-neighbour after himself!

And the Susan Atkins death - what's he trying to say, that Atkins' death might somehow encourage other Manson family members to 'speak out' about what they know on the subject of Roman's involvement with Tate's death?

Hey, wait a minute...
