So: was the domestic cat introduced to the Etruscans by the Egyptians then?

And were the Etruscans the inventors of the wooden hot water bottle - as I fervently believe - or was it introduced from Mesopotamia, as the heretical doctrine would have it?

Cats were introduced because humanity hadn't domesticated cattle at that point so needed to get milk from somewhere.

The hot water bottle is Sumerian and was invented before the bed.

Cats and Cattle are related genetically and phonetically. Except for siamese cats which are heretics and leaders of an underground movement to overthrow the government of Pago Pago.

Don’t get me started on cats. I have a doctorate in Felinolgy from La Fontaine College. I know more about cats than you would want to know.

Any questions?

What does "questions" mean?

This from the ever-ready Google:

a matter requiring resolution or discussion.
"the question of local government funding worried ministers"

Of course, it's plural in this instance.
