Self-styled 'Dear Leader' of communist North Korea, Kim Jong-Il, has had rare talks with Russian president Dmitry Medvedev.
Mr Kim, famous for his rendition of the ballad So Ronery in the hit Hollywood movie Team America, is reported to have discussed a return to six-party nuclear talks with the Russian leader.
Also eported to be on the agenda were permitting a Russian gas pipeline to South Korea across North Korean territory and the country's economic links with Russia.
But insiders say the official agenda for the talks at a military base in Siberia was merely a front for more serious business.
"Mr Kim and Mr Medvedev are great collectors," said a source. "They are both passionate about beermats and postcards.
"Of course, Mr Medvedev's links with the west make him an important source for coveted European and American breweriana, and he gets his diplomats all over the world to send him postcards.
"With North Korea being such a closed society, such ephemera rarely makes it out of the country, so Mr Kim stocks up on swaps for these get-togethers.
"They simply spend a couple of days having a bit of a swap-meet. They have great fun and get the other stuff out of the way as quickly as possible."
