Osama bin Laden's burial at sea is believed, by many, to be an attempt by the US government to deny his followers a shrine.
Allowing his body to sink to the bottom of the ocean at an unknown location would allow his remains to be left undiscovered for eternity.
Thanks to a world of constant surveillance, social networking and total Googley goodness, the burial site of this most evil man may well have been found.
The US aircraft carrier, the Carl Vinson is very distinct in its shape and occupies a vast area. Following a technical error last month, the carrier was also accidentally painted sky-blue rather than the typical ocean-gray, meaning it was easier to spot from the air.
One particularly eagle-eyed American, and naval aficionado, Carl Vincent, spotted the Carl Vinson on manoeuvres in the Middle East using an online satellite image service last Friday.
Vincent says the images of the area were in the process of being updated, explaining that the region containing the Carl Vinson on the map was a much higher definition picture than the surrounding blocks. Being keen to keep abreast of the ship's movements, Vincent reloaded the map regularly over the passing days to receive updates.
On Tuesday 2nd May, Vincent got the update he was waiting for, and more besides!
The super-high resolution image shows the Vinson at anchor in the North Arabian Sea with a massed party on its deck next to a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.
In the centre of the gathered crowds, it is just possible to make out the former US President George W. Bush, who appears to be showing immense delight in taking a furious kick at what is assumed to be the deceased body of Osama Bin Laden, wrapped in a heavily stained sheet. The surrounding crew of the ship appear to be cheering and raising their arms in celebration - A far cry from the sombre and reverent scene being pushed by the Obama regime.
A crudely made banner flying on the Vinson's conning tower read "We got him".
They certainly did. Right in the face!
