Panic swept through a Greek shipping boat when the crew spotted the 48-hour dead Osama Bin Laden.
The late Al Qaeda leader was walking on the water.
Said the head of the Athens-based shipping company: "Dear God no, my men were not drunk. They know that they aren't allowed to drink on the boats. They were cold sober."
The boat was on its way back to an Arabian Sea harbor with a full cargo hold of fish when Bin Laden suddenly appeared off the starboard bow of the vessel.
"He was in a white robe, barefoot and his beard was much grayer than on photos of him," said the company head.
Bin Laden had two gaping holes on the left side of his face.
The company head was adamant that Bin Laden was walking on top of the ocean as if walking on a solid wooden floor.
He said: "He turned and looked at my fishermen. He was smiling. And then he just vanished. It wasn't like happening slowly. No, one moment he was there and the next he was gone."
Before Bin Laden disappeared he gave the fishermen the Bronx salute.
