image for Spam Is The Only Food On The Menu At Royal Wedding
"More Spam??"

London, England-- The only thing being served at the royal wedding on Friday is Spam. The infamous 'ham in a can' is the only thing the royal family eats--ever. Picky eaters and devout muslims are warned to stay away from the reception--even the wedding cake will be made from Spam!

The royal family has been eating Spam since 1970. Queen Elizabeth II was very amused by a 'Monty Python' episode about Spam, and decided to try it. The next day she ordered all her cooks to feed her and the family Spam 24 hours a day.

Princes William and Harry haven't eaten anything but Spam since they were born. The constant sight of Spam at every meal was the main reason Princess Diana lost her mind. It's rumoured that a can of Spam was found at the Paris accident scene that took her life in 1997.

Friends and relatives at the royal wedding reception will see Spam everywhere they look. There will be Spam soup, Spam horderves, and even a Spam wine to toast the newlyweds.

The centerpiece of the wedding will be the Spam wedding cake. It wil be made from exactly 1,001 blocks of Spam, taken right from the can. A light glaze of Spam gelatin will cover the cake, and give it a nice luster.

The queen also has a nice surprise for the young couple. The queen will have the surviving members of 'Monty Python' entertain the reception, as everyone eats their wonderful Spam!
