image for Spoof.com in Shock as Writers' Desks Broken Into
"NOOOOOOOO!" Could Be Heard Across the World

LONDON - At the Spoof.com, many writers were very unhappy with a new development.

Their writers' desks had been robbed.

The writer's desk, which shows the writer thier points, outstanding posts, statistics, options and more, has had its contents empty.

One spoofer, Inhopeless, is in a state of shock over the event.

"I log on," he said, "to finish off a couple of stories I'd been writing. Lo and behold, they disapeared! Not only that, but so had the 'S' from statistics."

Another problem writers keep running into is the lack of 'Add Message' or 'Publish Story' buttons on both forums and story writing mode.

Lady Godiva, a long-standing member, said this: "I was going to comment on a forum post that Inhopeless had written about how chickens are lovely to eat," she said, while repeatedly fending off burglars trying to steal her gold treasures, "but not only did the 'add message' button not appear, but I could t-t-t-t-t-ttttt-t-t-t-t-tt-ttt-tt-typeeee ppepeee f properly. It's like someone s ole the writing equipme nt."

Cerrrrrrrrrttain blame has been appropiated to the site admin, Mark.

"Well," he said, pulling down a complex chart compiling lists of IP addresses, network types, and other statistics. "You know those one star bandits? They're a whole e-gang. They've stolen everything from the WD."
