Silvio Berlusconi is to set aside Mondays so he can attend all 4 trials pending against him, his press secretary has announced.
The under fire Italian PM is facing charges of bribery, extortion, fraud and having sex with an under age prostitute.
His press man Attilio Nascimento says that the media magnate first got the idea for allocating one day of the week to "legal matters" from the popular British custom of "dress down Friday".
This refers to the practice where office workers abandon their suits and other formal attire on the last day of the working week and wear casual gear instead.
Nascimento continues :"This measure struck Mr Berlusconi as an excellent way of time managing his increasingly busy work schedule, so the first day of the has now been designated by Silvio as 'Magistrate Monday'.
Similarly, the rest of the week will be given catchy, snappy title so he can easily remember what happens and when.
So far, the Berlusconi calendar has been so designated -
'Television Tuesday' is devoted to media interests,
'Water Buffalo Wednesday" will be reserved for duties associated with his membership of the Propaganda 2 masonic lodge.
'Scudetto Saturday' is set aside for his beloved A.C. Milan".
Nascimento would not, however, confirm or deny reports that the last day of the week has been given the moniker 'Shagging Sunday .
