Topics: Egypt, Hosni Mubarak

Sunday, 13 February 2011

In an exclusive interview, Hosni Mubarak at last decided today to spill the beans regards his release on his grip of power after 30 years.

He said to this reporter "So many people wishing me well made me feel claustrophobic".

When asked if he thought he might be somewhat deluded Mubarak stated "Not at all, I'm still in control really, its just that I've decided to take some time out, you know like students do". He said "I look forward to the day when I take over the reins again".

People in Tahir square were asked there views on Mubaraks return and stated "Yeah, that would be great", "We are already missing him so would be good to have him back" and another said "Hosni who?"

Mubarak said he plans to move to the Outer Hebridian island of Lewis for a year to set up a new kingdom. Residents there are delighted that such a pleasant chap with a good knowledge of Gaelic has decided to live there. Donald Macleod (who comes from a long Egyptian dynasty)said "Its great news the sheep will be delighted".
