GUILDFORD, ENG. - After Mubarak stepped down as ruler of Egypt, sources say he went into hiding.

That is, to the place no-one will think to look. Surrey. After submerging with the locals, who had no clue who he was, Mubarak was found out by some passing motorists who just happened to have downloaded a news report with his face on it.

Mubarak was arrested and will await trial after a government forms in Egypt. The two motorists, a driver and passenger were shocked.

"We were going to London, but we got caught in traffic," said the driver, Ed Stevens, "so we decided to take a detour into South London, and Dave [the passenger] was reading a Reuters article on his HTC, when suddenly, he [Mubarak] appeared around the corner. We performed a citizens arrest, and bundled him into the back of our Ford Focus. We merrily drove on into London, and took him to a police station."

Many residents who knew Mubarak were shocked.

"Nah," said one, "you're lying. That nice chap could not have been a pharoah-type person. He helped me with my shopping."

Apparently Mubarak was trying to remake his life in Surrey, and chose this place because of the boringness of it.

Mubarak could not be reached for comment, mostly because, as a taste of his own medicine, he has had his freedom of speech taken away.

As of press time, back in Egypt, a two-day party will happen.
