A totally "nutty" Dutch professor called Arnold van Huis has proclaimed that the problems of the world can be solved by eating bugs.
Poverty, malnutrition, exploding global population, food shortages, water shortages, etc, can all be defeated if humans start accepting bugs as part of their main-stream diet.
Bugs are cheap to produce, have plenty of nutritious properties and can be cooked and served in many variations. Worms, insects, creepy crawlies, etc, can all be baked into delicious quiche, cakes, tarts, pies, anything in fact.
There are though several problems with Arnold's predictions: In Africa where the place is absolutely teeming with bugs and insects (which many Africans consume) there is the most poverty and malnutrition?
Also, in most civilised parts of the world people don't eat insects and bugs, they tred on them, spray them, swat them, squash them, etc, in fact anything to get rid of the damn beasts!
Professor Arnold might be scientifically correct in his predictions but he still remains a Dutch "nutter". Crispy, crunchy bug-worm tart, my butt!
