Russia - Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that Russia needs a good enemy if it is going to regain an important roll in world politics.

"I don't like the United States, and I haven't liked them since my days in the KGB, so I am picking them as Russia's number one enemy." Putin told reporters.

Putin was also defending Russia against accusations that his government leaked diplomatic cables to the website WikiLeaks.

"The United States can blame us for the leaks, but would anyone really believe a country like Russia would leak top secret documents?" Putin added.

It isn't clear if Putin will get his way and the United States and Russia will become great enemies, again.
