People can't spell countrie... I mean country.

The country with the hardest to spell name has been revealed as Iraq today, with the majority of the population unable to spell this four lettered word.

Many people were asked to spell a number of countries. Having nailed the spellings for Kazakhstan and Armenia, only Iraq was left on the list.

Then, 500,000 spelled it wrong.

Out of the 500,001 people we'd assembled, only one person managed to spell it right: the guy asking the question. Results varied from Irack; Irak, Barack and one "Macdonalds" from George Bush.

In unrelated news, Iraq got another record for taking the longest to form a government. Wales is said to feel cheated as they still haven't got theirs sorted after 10 years.
