Leaked company papers revealed startling news about trapped miners in the Chile gold mine.
The papers, which had yet to been discovered, discussed how the Chile government and Mining Company expect the trapped miners to pay for their own rescue by continuing to mine for and send up gold to the surface in order to pay for the rescue operation.
"This is very expensive," one top company executive wrote. "Once the world found out theses low wage easy to be replaced miners were still alive, we had no choice but to start a rescue operation. Had the idiots; (wait, change that.) not wrote on our very expensive drill bit that they were still alive, we could had easily replaced them and continued making millions of dollars with out having to close down the mine to rescue them."
In a secret memo from the government, Government officials agreed that had it not been for the world press reporting on the miners, no one would had missed these low class workers. The only logical thing to do was to make examples of these men and make them pay for their rescue operation. It will send a clear message to any future trapped miners that if they want the attention of the rest of the world, they had better be ready to work for it.
In another memo, it talked about rumors of the miners receiving overtime pay while they are trapped, "This not happening;" a chief executive wrote. The men were fired for not attending a mandatory employee meeting that night to discuss the cave in. they are no longer employed with the mining company.
When asked about an interview, the mining company and Government officials both refused to be interviewed by this reporter, citing that all our paper writes is a bunch of lies.
At first this reporter was offended by the statement, until I realized all the good stories, I could make up about them; then they will wish they had granted an interview. This is reporter Truybill, or someone else, saying, "If you read it here, you really need life." Good night, or day where ever the hell you live.
