image for Taliban to be collected with giant 'fly-paper'
Don't worry missus, there's no flies on you!

Scientists have developed a material that sticks only to Taliban head-dress, heroin and kalashnikovs - whilst being inert to women, allied soldiers and buildings.

They hope an enormous sheet coated with this compound, can be lowered over Afghanistan to collect insurgents their weapons and drugs and be lifted by helicopters to nearby Pakistan.

Military officials hailed the discovery as a breakthrough in the war against terror. Human rights activists however were quick to voice concerns that innocent people could be affected.

Privately sources stated plans were 'early stage' and 'bizarre' but were confident 'their boys' would be equal to the task.
