Giant berg was last seen right about here 55w,91S

Whitlandia,Antarctica Scientists Monday in a flyover determined that the floating ice cake is larger than the country of Australia, or is that a continent?

The group described the ice island as large, white, coldish, standing about eighty five feet tall and 1800 miles across, heading northwesterly, holding two penguins hostage, demands cash and a flight to North Pole or will start sinking shipping.

Unfortunately, the berg dropped from their radar screen just before the research team dropped from the air.

This is par for Monday Scientists, Friday Scientists usually stay in the air longer so as not to miss "Fun Facts Fridays" back at the polar base.

North American teams carrying road salt are enroute hoping to neutralize the mass of slowly agitating water molecules.
