image for Nuns To Strike
"Sisters, the time for action is now"

Nuns have announced that they are to strike. This follows the allegations that the Pope had been caught in a compromising position with a novice.

Sister Mary O'Treacy said "We are not just here to be ridden by the upper echelons of the Vatican. We deserve to be treated with respect" said the woman dressed as a penguin.

The Catholic church is lurching from one crisis to another and drastic action is needed. A special Vatican council has been convened. Its aims are to solve the image problems the church is having. New entrants are getting fewer and fewer each year. The church has been involved in sexual abuse scandals, Hitler Youth allegations (strongly denied) and there is still the suggestion that the Vatican has been watering the wine.

The nuns are said to be in a militant mood, although critics say that this is just a bad habit and they will soon return to work.

Make Earl Grey's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
