image for Lowton Charged in Ad Scam
A Typical Ad

Mark Lowton, owner of TheSpoof.com a satirical web site, has been charged with placing false advertisements for an Internet game on his website featuring lurid pictures of large breasted pouting temptresses.

According to Internet officials there is no actual Internet game, Lowton was simply placing false soft porn ads on his site to increase visitor traffic and keep his writers working long hours for free in exchange for a regular supply of thinly disguised pornography.

This is not the first time that Lowton has run afoul of the law. He was reprimanded earlier this year for attempting a similar scam using scantily clad Moslem women on his site fraudulently identified as an on-line Internet dating service for Moslems.

The tactic apparently drove writers for Lowton mad unsuccessfully calling the free long distance numbers for the ladies featured while unwittingly casting a vote for Susan Boyle on the Britain's Got Talent television show with each phone call.

Judge Bargis Tryhol said in his statement that "Mr. Lowton intentionally and willfully preyed on simple and well meaning writers for his own gain by taking advantage of their weakness for pornography."

"Writers were trapped in Lowton's cyber-dungeon for years at a time."

Judge Tryhol went on to say "Lowton has learned little from previous reprimands and currently is flooding his site with false ads for clever tee-shirts featuring large breasted young models."

Lowton is currently free on bail at his Swiss Chalet fitted with an electronic leg bracelet for twenty-four hour monitoring.
