A Bob Ross 'MYSTERIOUS MIST' Applicator: $35.95 + Shipping and Handling!

The art world has been shocked today as local artist and tenured art Professor Sir Fergus McCarthy announced he has uncovered a long lost masterpiece from TV Master Painter Bob Ross.

McCarthy said he has been a life long devotee of Ross, who forged a TV show
"Painting With Bobby" into a multimillion dollar enterprise entrapping thousands of housewives, and even some Spoof Writers.

In order to 'paint along with Bobby', aspiring artists had to buy Ross's products including 'organic paints', and a variety of copyrighted painting tools including 28 sizes of fan brushes, a mason's trowel, and a Dry Wall 'Hawk', which was in reality a 'Bob Ross Official Mixing Palette"

McCarthy further claims the long lost work, "Ice Fishing on a Minnesota Pond in January with Cozy Log Cabin, Penguins and Happy Clouds " depicts the artist's close communion with God and Nature, prior to Global Warming threats which altered his work forever.

Ross's last known piece, now hanging in the Al Gore Almost Presidential Library, in Oslo, Norway, is entitled "Disorientated Whales on Parched Lake Michigan with Abandoned Formerly Cozy Log Cabin and Clouds of Tears in Backround".

According to appraisers from Christie's, that one sold for $6.5M.

According to McCarthy, the lost treasure lies behind a Da Vinci painting done at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy, commissioned in 1563.

Should the Professor's claims prove to be true, it will cause more questions to be asked about the origin of Colony inhabitants, and make recorded history, as we know it, obsolete.

Historians are already asking, "Who then really discovered Minnesota and why are all those penguins milling around?"

Of more concern to historians is the burning question, "Who really was Bob Ross, and why are all these people living in log cabins that attract Termites?"

A spokesman for McCarthy says a $1.5M grant is now pending before the World Monetary Fund (WMF), and when granted will also answer the burning question, "WTF"!

Make Morse's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
