image for Obama wins Nobel Prize for Being Prolific Subject of Lazy Satirical Comedy
Comedy gold

The world of comedy was stunned yesterday as the Nobel committee announced that US President Barack Obama, after only 7 months in office, has won the Nobel Prize for No-talent Comedy Writer's Blank Page of the Century award.

Speaking from some hilarious location that you wouldn't expect for maximum comedy value, he said 'I would like to say something that you wouldn't expect for maximum comic effect.'

Miley Cyrus was quoted as saying 'Well! I didn't expect to appear in this story but I add some comedy value to it!'

Accepting his Nobel Award for Being Overly Popular and Therefore a Prime Target for Comedy Writers, Obama said 'I'm now going to say something inappropriate, which will be sexual as it has maximum comedy value.' And then he did say something sexual.

The Nobel committee refused to comment on the award, but announced that the shortlists for the Comedy for Old Rope, Contrasting Something Sexual with Something Formal and Endlessly Misunderstanding Satire Awards were to be announced next week.

Make Simon Cockle's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
