A Vulcanised tyre-obsessed pervert who harassed a group of parked motor vehicles using social parking meter attendant ploys learned from websites has been described as "sexually deviant" and exiled from Asia
A polished bonneted-obsessed pervert who harassed unregistered and unsolicited motor vehicles has been exiled for four years Boss Hendrix, 37, infiltrated a group of parked cars outside a garage in the Wanchai area of Hong Kong by assuming other Traffic Wardens identities, found on sites such as Facebook, MSN and MySpace.
Hendrix, of West Country, UK, pleaded guilty at Quarry Bay Crown Court to three counts of inciting sexual activity involving a 15-year-old mini cooper, six offences of harassing old Morris Minors and several indecent acts on privately owned motor cars innocently parked.
The court heard he developed online relationships with the vehicles through magazines such as AutoMart, MotorTrader Plus and Auto Car Weekly. Telling them repeatedly that he loved them and wanted them to be his girlfriends, but he could not afford them and so suggested they took part in a series of sex acts.
He obtained the vehicle's registration numbers and plagued them with walk bys and viewings in the early hours of the morning after their owners had parked them and retired home, leaving the vehicles alone and defenceless
Window Saleman Hendrix also discussed grooming another young 4x4 with a towbar to aid in his sordid filthery and had bought axle grease over the internet in the past. The court heard this other car was the subject of a "concerted campaign" by the defendant, which included impersonating his mechanic in order to obtain information about it from his owner and caravan club.
Judge Kershaw said the vehicle was "frightened and worried that someone had become obsessed with her".
Hendrix's mobile phone was found to contain an enormous number of "non-indecent" photographs of tyreless vehicles and unfinished re-sprays and the court heard he asked a number of the cars questions about their gear stick knobs. He has admitted having a fetish involving the popular goodyear re-treaded tyre sported by all the vehicles involved. Psychiatric reports found Hendrix had "abnormal levels of sex drive" and a previous court hearing was told he said he would benefit from chemical castration.
Sentencing Hendrix, Judge Jennifer Kershaw QC said: "It seems to me the defendant presents a very worrying picture. The defendant is not only sexually deviant, he is devious, the offending is repeated and it was resourceful."
Bendix was also sentenced to an extended licence period of eight years, which Judge Kershaw said would enable him to be monitored after his release.
