image for New device for stopping drivers speeding; Trials 100% success

Even in this current world economic crisis, car manufacturers are still investing money in our travel safety.

New and existing devices to keep us safe in our cars and trucks, such as air bags, side air bags, sick air bags, advanced braking system (ABS) and nice comfy leather seats are all standard specifications. The problem is that drivers now drive faster than ever because they simply think if they are involved in an accident they will be safe from injury.

Now Japanese technology has come up with what many say is a foolproof answer to speeding and consequently will reduce road accidents by up to 99%.

After years of research, Toysubishi will be fitting a 16 inch steel spike in the middle of the steering wheel to all new car models from 2010.
